Snow Cream!!!

Thursday, 24 January 2013

Today we made snow ice cream! Although many of the children and staff were a little sceptical at first, once they tasted it they loved it!

We made it by mixing sweetened condensed milk to clean snow and then we added a drop of vanilla extract.

Mrs Finnegan came up to class 6 to taste the ice cream and was extremely impressed! As it was so successful we will be selling our snow cream in cones tomorrow for 50p each to make money for charity.

Year 2 have been learning about the Great Fire of London this term. As part of their homework, the children had to design and make a fire engine of their own. Year 4 judged the completed fire engines and points were awarded for creativity, mobility and effort. Well done to all the children who completed a fire engine and well done to Year 4 for being such good judges!

Well done to all the children who received a certificate and a selection box for their hard work this term! The staff found it very hard to pick just 2 children from each class.
