Monday, 12 October 2015

On Tuesday Y6 went to Holy Cross Church to join other local year 6 children for the annual vocations mass.

It was lovely to have so many different schools together and our children certainly did us proud.

Then, today Sister Anne and Sister Carmel came to school to talk to us about using our gifts and talents and answering the call of God. The children really enjoyed the visit and learnt a lot.

Y6 Sleepover

Monday, 12 October 2015

On Friday night year six enjoyed the first part of their residential activities for the year.

We stayed after school and played various games outside before coming in and eating sandwiches and chips for tea. The children made the sandwiches themselves and also washed up and cleared everything away.

Then we played more games including dodgeball and benchball.

We spent the night sleeping on the hall floor and then had breakfast together in the morning.

All of the children were extremely well behaved and really enjoyed themselves.
