Rugby at the Warriors

Thursday, 21 September 2017

On Friday we went to the Worcester Warriors to watch them take on the Exeter Chiefs. Thirty-three pupils, Mrs Grubham, Mr Ellicott and Miss Mensah travelled by coach to the ground and began the evening with a tour including the changing rooms. We then played tag rugby with some Worcester Warrior coaches and did some skill drills. We also had a go at kicking over the posts.

After that we visited the club shop to buy some souvenirs. Then Maja went off to be a mascot whilst the rest of the pupils did a lap of the pitch and then lined up as flag bearers to welcome the players onto the pitch.

Unfortunately the Warriors lost the game but this didn’t spoil our evening.

At the end of the game we managed to get some photos and autographs from some of the players.

Thank you to Mr Ellicott for organising the trip and to the Worcester Warriors for the brilliant time that we had.

Marvellous Me Assembly!

Friday, 15 September 2017

Today we introduced a new app we are using with our parents and families called ‘Marvellous Me’.

Using this app, teachers and staff cans end badges, messages and activities to parents! You can use it to see why your child has been rewarded and what great work they have been doing in school.

We showed the parents this morning how to download and use it.

Parents can high five us so that we now the message has been received and read!

The class with the most parents signed up will win a trip to SpaceHoppas!
