Girls’ Tag Rugby Competition

We brought two squads over to Kings Norton RFC for a girls only tag rugby festival. It was a great evening with lots of matches played all to a high standard and in the right sporting spirit. Our ‘black and red’ team were slightly less experienced going into the competition but they performed fantastically, achieving some excellent results – winning one, drawing three and narrowly losing two. Fran deserves a special mention as she became a natural leader on the pitch and scored lots of tries. Meanwhile, our ‘purple and white’ team started strongly and just kept going. They won four, drew one and lost one. This meant that they finished second overall and won the Runners-Up shield and silver medals. Marnie was brilliant in this team, tagging more times than anyone in the competition! A big well done to all of the girls who loved the experience and did Bosco proud!
