Since returning to school, class 6 have been keen to help improve our school environment and help make us more eco-friendly. Having noticed such a difference in nature and wildlife during lock down, we are keen to recycle and look after the nature we have on our school site.
Today, we were joined by Mr Clews, who helped us get some of the school garden area looking good. We did plenty of weeding, planting, watering and hopefully we’ll see some vegetables starting to grow soon.
The children were all fantastic and very keen to do their bit. A huge thank you to Mr Clews too for giving up his time. The garden area is already looking much better, and we have plenty more planned before the summer holidays. Well done everyone!
