St John Bosco Catholic Primary School

The children have had a great time and done an amazing job with the school eco project. They have designed PowerPoint presentations and posters to raise awareness; had badges made for the new Eco Leaders and for other children to buy; plated various vegetables and flowers and taken care of them, making a scarecrow to keep them safe; added bird and butterfly feeding areas and made a bug hotel. We are now waiting for a new summer house to be added in, so that we can observe the wildlife and continue to look after our school environment. Thank you to the Hateley Heath Project for the funds provided, to Mr Clews, Mr and Mrs Slade and to all of the staff and children who have contributed – it looks fantastic!
