St John Bosco Catholic Primary School

All classes carried out a biscuit dunking experiment. The children made predictions, discussed the method, ensured it was a fair test and presented their findings in various ways. The children learnt about the science behind the experiment and had so much fun doing so!

During the week, the children also went on to take part in many different scientific enquires, including finding out if there is a relationship between a mammal’s size and its gestation period, testing the strength of magnets and classifying magnetic and non-magnetic materials and testing with material is best for keeping our drinks warm.
