This year for Lent, we are supporting CAFOD’s campaign ‘Walk for Water’, as well as ‘The Good Shepherd Appeal’ Walk a Mile in their shoes’ event. Year 6 had the job of walking 6 whole miles! 16 laps of the KS2 playground is equivalent to a mile, meaning that Y6 needed to walk a total of 96 laps! We spread it out over different days and even tried marching some of the steps to tie in with our WWII theme. Many children have completed their miles but there are a few more who will aim to get these finished the first week back after Easter. Here are some photos of the children completing their laps.
