St John Bosco Catholic Primary School

Y6 had great fun with their music lesson this week. As VE Day is approaching, the children learnt how to do the ‘Hand Jive’, as well as learning a song called ‘Hey Mr. Miller’, which was originally composed by Glenn Miller, a famous Jazz musician in the 1940’s. The children have been leanring all about this era during their WWII topic. We can’t wait to show Mrs Shaikh what we have been learning.

When the weather improves, Y6 will have a VE Day themed, wellbeing picnic outside, where they will perform their songs and dances. Keep an eye on the blog for updates!

Here are some videos showing the children in action.
