It’s that special time of the year again for those children taking a step closer to God! Year 4 had the special honour of receiving their First Holy Communion at Holy Cross Church accompanied with a small group of family. The children have learnt so much and worked so hard to prepare for this sacrament; they have a deep understanding of transubstantiation where the bread and wine are blessed to become the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ. A special thanks to Father Stan for celebrating this sacrament with the children as well as Miss Barsby and Mrs Adams for supporting the children during their preparation.
