This term Year 3 have been learning about linkages and levers; they understand what linkages and levers are and how fixed and loose pivots are crucial to enable the product to move. The children are aware of some of the linkages and levers used in children’s picture books and how they appeal to the target audience. They planned, designed and made a product for a children’s book. The final product was a weird alien creature whose hands wave at the reader.
