The children had a great day learning about the importance of protecting the Earth for future generations. During our whole school assembly, the children watched the Laudato Si’ animation which highlighted how everyday choices we make in our lives affect the environment, the climate and other species. This got us thinking about the changes we can make to play our part in protecting our common home.
Each class then focused on one area of sustainability. The children used their scientific skills to investigate their given topic and then produced some amazing artwork.
Here are some pictures of the day:
We are all excited at St John Bosco to become advocates for protecting Earth and making a difference.
