Mr Lodge was impressed with Year 4’s prayerful gathering today as he led them through a close look at Jesus’ parable of The Great Banquet (Luke 14: 15-24). Year 4 reverently reflected on how we are all openly invited to God’s banquet and its through our actions that we RSVP – we are ready to join the feast! It is important to remember we are all part of God’s kingdom and are all welcomed. The children rebuilt an image of our church – Holy Cross – as a way to remember how we can gather, just like Jesus wants us to in this parable.
