Class 5 Update

Thursday, 30 April 2020

It was lovely to call everyone again and chat about how things are going. All of you seem to be coping well and working hard. I’m really impressed with the maturity shown, speaking confidently on the phone and just getting on with things so well. Here is another selection of the work you’ve sent me. Keep them coming! Well done again class 5 and stay safe.

Year 2 continue to work hard at home

Tuesday, 28 April 2020

Year 2 continue to work hard at home with the support of their parents. We have a range of exciting activities: Dev has created a wonderful art mural made from natural materials found around the home, Dominik and Ambrielle (and family) have displayed rainbow drawings in their front windows to show their support for all NHS workers and Oliver is working hard on his sounds and spellings. Ambrielle has worked hard to ‘grow root words’.

Very impressive work Year 2 and well done to all parents for supporting their children in home learning. You are doing a great job!

Julia B’s artistic skills are also shown in her rainbow painting to thank the NHS staff. Take a look at their work!

Puppet Shows

Monday, 27 April 2020

We have started this week off by discussing puppet shows. The children in school have planned out an exciting story full of fantasy characters and settings. They then used this plan to create their setting using cardboard and paint to set the scene. Following was the important task of moulding the characters out of clay to make their puppet. Take a look at them working hard with their fantastic designs!
