Today, Year 6 took part in a Judaism workshop led by Ruth. During the session, the children learned about Jewish beliefs, traditions and special objects used in worship. Ruth showed them a range of artefacts, and the children had the opportunity to look closely at them while learning about their importance in Jewish life.
They also explored some Jewish festivals and traditions, helping them to understand how these are celebrated within the Jewish community. At the end of the workshop, the children tasted a traditional Jewish cookie, giving them a small insight into Jewish culture and food.
The workshop was engaging and informative, helping Year 6 develop a better understanding of Judaism.
