Toy Fayre

On Wednesday 6th April, as part of their fundraising for the Fr Hudson’s Society Good Shepherd Appeal, Year 6 organised a toy fayre and bring and buy sale for the rest of the school. Throughout the week leading up to the event children from other classes along with Year 6 themselves have been bringing in a range of games, books, toys, DVDs and many other assorted objects. The Year 6 students set to work sorting and pricing it before the sale began and made a posters and adverts to publicise the event. When the doors opened just before 2pm everyone from the nursery through to staff members came to spend their money and find a bargain. With some excellent salesmanship on show and prices reduced as stock went down, by the end of the afternoon almost everything had been sold and a grand total of £168 was raised for the appeal. Well done Year
