All of the children at SJB joined in with supporting Earth Hour 2023, which is a special global event to raise awareness about the importance of protecting our planet. The children turned off electrical equipment, iPads, whiteboards, laptops and lights for one lesson to support the action on climate change. Some classes worked outside and used natural resources during their lesson.
Well done to the Earth Advocates for issuing reminders around the school so that all of the children and staff are reminded to be aware of our responsibility to make a difference.
We are working hard towards achieving our Live Simply award and answering Pope Francis’ Laudato Si message to ‘care for our common home.’
