St John Bosco Catholic Primary School

This week, Year 2 welcomed parents into the classroom for an exciting history workshop all about the Great Fire of London! 🏠πŸ”₯ Together, they stepped back in time to 2nd September 1666, using their historical knowledge to write newspaper reports covering the dramatic first day of the fire.

We had some lovely messages from parents in our post lesson questionnaire:

πŸŒŸβ€Love these lessons with my grandson, his sister enjoys them too. Thank you.”

πŸŒŸβ€Good to engage and see what they are learning about.”

πŸŒŸβ€I really enjoyed seeing the lesson today. It’s nice to see a lesson in action.”

πŸŒŸβ€Great way to see how my child is learning, really enjoyed.”

πŸŒŸβ€Thanj you for having us! I enjoy each and everyone of these sessions.”

πŸŒŸβ€Brilliant class on learning the Great Fire of London. Very interesting and Mrs Klaman makes it easy for the children to understand the work they are learning.”

The children did an amazing job bringing the events to life with their fantastic reporting skills! βœοΈπŸ—žοΈ A huge thank you to all the parents who joined usβ€”it was wonderful to share this learning experience with you! πŸ‘πŸ“š
