Our children had a fantastic time taking part in Democracy Day and experiencing what a real election is like as they voted for their School Council representatives. The children learned about democracy, the importance of having a voice and how voting allows us to make fair choices.
A huge well done to all the children who prepared and confidently delivered a speech to their classes. Everyone did a fantastic job sharing their ideas and explaining why they would make a great School Council representative.
