Whitemoor Lakes day 2

This morning we split into our 3 groups and have done a mix of climbing, high ropes, fencing and challenge course.
Everyone has joined in fully and many have conquered their fear of heights!
After our lunch of pizza, we headed over the road to the National Memorial Arboretum where we learnt all about The World Wars and remembered the soldiers who fought for their country. It was an excellent afternoon where the children learnt lots and were fully engaged in what they were doing. We finished the session with a beautiful and moving short remembrance service led by the children. Thank you to the staff at the arboretum (who are all volunteers) for the brilliant afternoon we had.

Hey everyone-looks like you’re all having a great time! Sorry i can’t be with you this week- I wouldn’t be able to climb those high ropes- not in my high heels and those hats would do nothing for my hair!! Anyway- don’t forget to have beauty night- Mrs Carter and Mrs Hart will enjoy that- as for Miss Ellicott- I doubt it- ha ha!!! Enjoy the rest of your week and I will see you all when you get back!! God bless, from Mrs F xxxx
