St John Bosco Wow Moments

Bosco Boys bring Saddlers Success

St John Bosco may have been looking kindly on Walsall FC on Saturday as, following a visit from the pupils of St John Bosco Primary School from West Bromwich the clubs 8 match run withou a win came to an end.

The children from St John Bosco were at the Banks Stadium as guests of the clubs community department. They enjoyed 2 hours of coaching from the club, led out the teams for the match v Exeter and then acted as ball boys for the match – a thrilling 2 – 1 win for Walsall.

The boys had a great day, the training was outstanding and the match had everything including great goals and a red card. At the end of the game, Christopher L (9) received a signed football from Walsall’s head of community Adam Davy for showing outstanding effort and attitude all day.

The result lifted the Saddlers off the bottom of the table.

The boys from St John Bosco will return to Bescot again in January for the game v Bristol Rovers. Hopefully the result will be the same.
