St John Bosco Wow Moments

Walsall

Students from St John Bosco Catholic Primary School in West Bromwich acted as ball boys for Walsall Football club’s crucial match v Stevenage  at the Banks’s Stadium. The day  began with a training session and match on the astroturf pitch before the children led out by Christopher Law welcomed the teams onto the field and spent 90 minutes helping the game run smoothly.Everyone enjoyed an excellent day in a very closely contested game which earned Walsall a valuable point as they try to avoid relegation and maintained the school’s record of Walsall not losing when they go.At the end of the game the children were congratulated by Walsall Community director Adam Davy for their terrific enthusiasm and behaviour. A signed Walsall ball was awarded to Jack Summers for showing the best attitude. Everyone looks forward to their next visit, hopefully in the pre season and Walsall still in league 1.
