WEMBLEY VISIT

Pupils, parents and staff from St John Bosco Catholic Primary School enjoyed an evening at Wembley to watch the international football match between England and Holland this week.
The school was delighted when they learned they had been allocated 49 tickets by the FA for the game and set off from school in anticipation for what was for nearly all of the group, their first visit to the national stadium, looking forward to Stuart Pearce’s first match in charge.
Before the game everyone was treated to pre match entertainment, had the chance to have their faces painted and enjoyed the pre match Wembley entertainment.
Everyone then joined in the national anthems before taking their seats for the game, which proved to be a great contest with England coming back from two goals down before losing in injury time.
Despite the result everyone had a great night and agreed the Wembley experience was amazing. St John Bosco School has recently been awarded an outstanding grade by OFSTED, with opportunities for pupils to take part in trips such as this one contributing to the judgement.
